Saab at the lights go off again?

For today, about 3700 employees of the Swedish automaker Saab in Trollhättan site are invited to attend a staff meeting. Media reports, is the resumption of production is not in sight. Suppliers, unions and politicians in Sweden require immediate action to prevent a final end of Saab in Trollhättan after now for three weeks not a single car ran off the line more, because the company lacks the money for the payment of suppliers.

Vladimir Antonov, the Russian investor is the only conceivable source of fresh money. He wants to buy the plant in Trollhättan. But Saab told now that the sale because of pending permits and the harsh conditions imposed by the European Investment Bank (EIB) is uncertain. Manage the sale, could immediately funds amounting to the equivalent of some 30 million euros are available.

Antonov will also engage in the Saab owners, the Dutch sports car maker Spyker Cars. When General Motors 2010 Saab sold to the Dutch, the involvement of Antonov had been excluded. The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency had placed the criminal Geldwächse cracks. Antonov denies the allegations.
