Six auction concept designer Bertone

Collectors from all over Europe and beyond, be warned. Appointment at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on 21 May when will be auctioned off no less than six prototypes of the famous designer Carrozzeria Bertone at the turn of the sixties and eighties. A piece of design history and the history of Italian motoring and then will go on sale to meet the economic difficulties of the Bertone Museum of Capri in the province of Turin, which inevitably reduces its automotive heritage.

Get to know him and begin chronologically with Chevrolet Testudo (valued at approximately € 700 thousand) of 1963 signed by Giugiaro who designed one piece (opening) for roof and windshield. Following the Lamborghini Marzai (estimated 1.5 million euro) born in 1967, designed by Marcello Gandini - the same car that was driven by the royal couple years Rainier of Monaco and Grace Kelly at the Monaco Grand Prix - and the beautiful Lancia Stratos 0 of 1970 (also here the evaluation should be approximately 1 to 2 million) and the same name that inspired the next winning car in the rally in 70 years.

And yet another Lamborghini, this time the Bravo in 1974, more "affordable" as the price (about € 150-200 thousand), the Lancia Hiss, 1978 (from 60 to 100 thousand euro) and the 1980 Lamborghini Athon, also designed by Gandini, and that will probably be beaten with a figure of between 150 and 220 thousand euro.

Six valuable pieces of the collection will be sold. Fortunately, the assets may still rely on cars like the Alfa Romeo Bat, Giulietta SS, Caribbean and kangaroo, as well as Lamborghini Miura and Countach, Lancia Stratos HF.
