The basic idea which led to the design of this concept was to combine the qualities of leadership of a crossover (raised seat and ample space on board) with the elegance of a saloon filled with finishes of Car premium segment.

Aesthetically, the crossover French stylistic extremes concepts that debuted on the latest models of the Lion: the elusive and aerodynamic front shows a large rectangular grille that separates the thin headlights that extend up to the front wheel arches, while below, embedded on the sides of the bumper, there are two slots that give some grit at the sight of the whole.

Despite the large size of the car, which measures 4.87 meters long, 2.03 wide and 1.60 in height 1610 mm, the interior has been designed to accommodate only four people (hosted on a separate individual seats), which can enjoy a marked brightness, thanks to the presence of a large panoramic glass roof divided into two parts.

In terms of the mechanical SXC Concept draws on the latest technology used by the Casa del Leone, represented by the hybrid scheme called HYbrid4 and used on the recent Peugeot 3008. The engine turbo 1.6-liter gasoline engine capable of 218 hp and 300 Nm of torque was accompanied by a 95 hp electric motor, located on the rear wheels in order to download the 313 horsepower overall on all four wheel drive., with average consumption of 5.8 l/100 km declared pollutants emitted into the air and emissions of 143 g / km of CO2.

Also through the EV mode, the SXC can travel at constant speed up to 12.5 km moving with electric traction only, so without emitting an ounce of CO2 in the air.
