Volkswagen Golf, Volkswagen Polo and Ford Fiesta players on the market

The Volkswagen Golf is undoubtedly the best-selling car in Europe, and this record has been going on for some time. Suffice it to say that the last time he lost the leadership was in March of 2009 when the Ford Fiesta has managed to overcome it in sales. As far as we can say that the 2011 Volkswagen Golf in the month of March at an altitude of 53'055 car sales, slightly less than 59'267 of last year.

The Ford Fiesta is ranked second with 50'534 car and third place are still a Volkswagen, this time with the Polo 39'311 cars sold. For this Polo is a great result because it means +4.2% compared to 2010, so the only cars on the podium to have increased sales over the previous year. Climbing the charts are the Opel Corsa and then the fourth place followed by the others: Forfar Focus, Renault Clio, Peugeot 307, Renault Megane, Citroen C3 and even a Volkswagen to close the top ten with the Passat.

The last of the top ten positions seem to be still uncertain given that the difference in sales is small, while for the top places all seems well established.
