The Volvo V70, XC70 and S80 lead to debut the new five-cylinder D5 turbodiesel: the engine has gained 10 HP-going from 205 to 215 - and 20-Nm 440 Nm-420 passing, while reducing power consumption by 8% . Requests for the S80 D5 fuel with manual transmission and start & stop is then dropped to just 4.9 litres/100 km, equal to 129 g / km CO2 (6.0 l/100 km and 158 g / km of CO2 values relating to automatic).
