Volvo S60 and XC60 R-Design, now more powerful

The Swedish brand launches a new R-Design Kit for its S60 and XC60 models, whereby the top-end power increases to 330 hp. While both models are a remarkable aesthetic review. Both the Volvo S60 and the XC60 share a 305 hp engine in the kit versions equipped with R-Design. However, the Swedish brand will launch a new version of this kit by which this engine, called T6, increases power to 330 hp.

Maximum torque is also improved, reaching 48.98 mkg. This mechanism is associated with an automatic gearbox six relations with Geartronic technology, also being modified to offer a sportier driving. The drive system on both models is complete, including electronic devices Corner Instant Traction and Traction Control.

The 'bad' news is that these versions so far only been confirmed for the U.S. market, but by no means be ruled his arrival in Europe. It is from this summer when the first units of the new Volvo S60 and XC60 come to the American dealerships, and can begin to compete with other premium models 'vitamins' as the Audi S4 or BMW 335i in the case of the Volvo V60, and the BMW X3 and Audi Q5 in the case of Volvo XC60.
