Electric cars: BMW North America CEO of faux pas

The BMW North America CEO Jim O'Donnell has risked a big statement about power, at the Detroit Motor Show. As reported by MotorAuthority, let slip a comment about the rather pessimistic zero-emission car, stating that at present 90% of users were satisfied with the autonomy available. Despite the swift apology, it is undeniable that a similar statement clashes with the great development work that BMW is doing, with the launch of the brand "the BMW" and the presentation of Minie and ActiveE, with fleets of vehicles already in for clients and even the launch of Evolve software for the analysis of their habits and verification of possible "compatibility" with the electric car.
