Rating: No housing allowance for living in a caravan

Who lives in a mobile trailer used shall not be entitled to benefits under the Housing Benefit Act. This has now decided, the Administrative Court of Trier (Az 2 K 1082/10). As the German Bar Hotline reported that the ruling, an apprentice in Rhineland-Palatinate district of Bernkastel-Wittlich concerns.

Instead of having a permanent home, where she moved about with their caravans. Although this was at the location again and again permanently installed and the electricity and, where possible, connected water system. Purpose of the housing allowance would be adequate economic security and family-friendly living.

The appropriate conditions with constant travels in a caravan but are very unfavorable.
