Exactly one year after the arrival of the coupe, Audi has a powerful variant of the R8 Spyder GT, sold in limited edition only 333 pieces. Version en plein air is Ritov & the same principles that had inspired the development of the coupe such as weight reduction, enhancement of specific aesthetic and V12.
As for the exterior, the Audi R8 Spyder GT follows the aesthetic elements of a coupé: ritorvano is the same front air intakes titanium color (as well as rear vent) and the same wing fixed carbon. Also identical 19-inch alloy wheels with specific design and the interior can be enhanced with sports seats in Alcantara and carbon shell (on request).
The relief work is particularly complex in a car pool, because the lack of a roof requires strengthening of the structure, with the inevitable extra weight. The goal was to then remove pounds without compromising the car's torsional rigidity and safety in the event of rollover: the windshield, for example is more subtle and was made extensive use of carbon fiber aerodynamic and structural elements, with a saving in 'order of 85 kg.
Behind the driver behind the V12 5.2 FSI engine gives off 560 hp in a central location run by an automatic R-Tronic 6-speed and four-wheel drive with viscous coupling. The Audi R8 Spyder GT can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.8 seconds and raggunge the maximum speed of 317 mph, just below the performance coupé sister (0-100 km / h in 3.6 seconds ).
