Chrysler Spot "copied": Eminem sues Audi

Continues to be talked about by the commercial record that has boosted the image of Chrysler before the endless television audience of the Super Bowl last February. A success that the competition has clearly tried to emulate, eventually triggering a lawsuit. The "commercial" - cost $ 9 million - was made to raise sales of Chrysler 200 points on renewed claim "Imported form Detroit" (to emphasize the quality of the car equal to that of European and Japanese car import) and especially on testimonial from a strong impact as Eminem.

The famous rapper, who grew up in Detroit, in the spot has reaffirmed the values of Michigan (and Chrysler) to the tune of his song "Lose Yourself." It is this song at the center of controversy between Eminem and Audi, accused of having used an unauthorized version of the individual. The company that manages the licensing of Eminem, the Eight Mile Style, believes that the German manufacturer has improperly utlilizzato the song in the spot of the new Audi A6 Avant and therefore wants to claim damages.

In addition, shots, photography and even the duration of the advertising spots refer explicitly Chrysler, leaving room for legal action even by the U.S. House.
