Market Car in Europe picking up in May: more 7.6%

After data permanently negative in recent months, the auto market is starting to show signs of recovery in the first: the data collected ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers Association) show that in May new car sales in Europe increased by 7 , 6% over the same month of 2010, reaching 1,252,599 units.

Excellent performance in Germany, which with a more clearly in excess of 22% in France (plus 6.1). Evil over the UK with less than 1.7% and badly in Spain, where they were sold 23.3% of cars in less than May 2010. If Europe is smiling, not crying Fiat: in May were in fact less than 91,000 cars belonging to the group sold in Europe, with growth of 0.2% which, however, has lost market share going from 7.8 in one year to 7.3%, but still confirming the share of April.
