Commercial milestone for next-generation Mercedes E-Class: in March 2009, launch date, were sold over 550,000 copies of the model. Specifically, 376,000 sedans were delivered well, 64,000 and 110,000 Sedans coupe. This success shows no signs of decline whereas, by January 2011, sales of the model increased by 13% to 107,278 units.

The E-Class sedan is the most sold in the U.S., while the second model for the market is China, followed closely by Germany. In the latter is instead the Estate has record sales numbers highest in the world.
