Nissan continues to develop the GT-R and, despite delays caused by the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan, will resume early texts of development. As anticipated by 7Tune, as well as possible and a further strengthening of the 3.8-liter V6 engine from 530 to 560 hp, Nissan plans to build a road version even more extreme than the Spec V.
Called Spec R, this super GT-R should provide a further reduction of approximately 40 kg, in addition to a specific coverage of the gold tested. The Spec R Spec V should therefore be replaced in production in 2012, but tests at the Nurburgring are shifted until the month of October and is not yet possible to forecast the precise timing necessary to approve the final specifications.
