Volkswagen: Golf at the Wörthersee in four different

The suffix "concept car" still alive testifies to the uncertainty in producing them. Yet the Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabriolet Cabriolet and R seem almost definitive, if only because they combine the basic mechanics of their versions with the closed structure of the Golf Cabriolet. Both then use the 2.0 TFSI engine with a power of 211 hp (ITO) or 270 hp (R), available with six-speed manual transmission or double-clutch DSG.

The GTI offers the same stylistic elements of the sedan, including the red piping front, while the R is recognized by the appearance package with air inlets for the Talladega 19-inch wheels and leather interior trim and Pure Carbon Grey. It remains to be seen whether any Golf Cabriolet R series will be equipped with four-wheel drive, given the difficulty in locating the physical components.

Under the Wörthersee Volkswagen then sent back already displayed two concept cars at the Geneva Motor Show, built on the basis of Golf R sedan and set up by drawing from a catalog of non-standard accessories. The sample in gray is recognized by the Velvet Grey Metallic paint, alloy wheels Talladega for 19-inch brake calipers orange and the wing mirrors in carbon, while in the cockpit are two-tone leather interior and carbon strips on the steering wheel, gear lever and door handles door open.

The second car instead uses the Aplomb Blue paint and 19-inch wheels Glendale.
