Autocar test the Aston Martin V8 Vantage S

Autocar puts the whip the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage S, peppered dell'affascinante coupe English version. Beyond aesthetics, there is a melodious cry from ravening speed 8-cylinder that will delight the ears of drivers and pedestrians. The car is equipped with a new gearbox with paddles behind the wheel built by Graziano.

"Sport Button" on the bridge changes the throttle response and speed of transmission. The latter has the merit of not ever regret the manual transmission. It is no small thing. The operating speed is equal to its sweetness from a change to another. While most sport-mode becomes more aggressive and fast-paced.

The steering is now faster, direct and communicative. Prezioso also intended to upgrade the brake system with steel discs and aluminum calipers (although the system may experience a little 'tired after a few decided to thrust). To drive the mix of these factors makes the experience behind the wheel really exciting.

Almost perfect so if it were not for the price, frighteningly close to that of a Porsche 911 Turbo, even more powerful and faster. If you really look for the hairs then there is the issue of weight, not very contained, and experience in distance curve: Despite excellent communication skills and the balance of the rear, there is a slight roll when approaching to the limit.

But it is the same tester to ensure the exceptional qualities of this Aston Road, which however is not a means specifically designed for the track as a GT3.
