Autovelox outlaw: 146 municipalities involved

The Guardia di Finanza di Brescia closed the case of the "camera rigged" which has affected 146 municipalities throughout Italy. The main accused in this fraud against the motorist is a man of 60 years, already investigated in relation to contracts for the operation of services of detection by radar and now the illegal way of managing them.

The investigation also involved the financiers Consilina Hall, who in 2010 pointed out the challenge of approximately 82,000 illegal violations of the highway code with penalties for improper requests for 11.5 million euro. The man is accused of selling through its fake companies, as many as 50 cameras of which only 2 approved; of masterminding fake bids which, with the complicity of many local authorities, participated in only his companies.

In all the reports were falsely listed the serial numbers of only two more and the speed detection equipment in accordance with the law (2 freshmen in different places and then the boot time). In this way the minutes were indisputable. There are 367 public officials, and 147 undocumented workers involved: were reported for the crimes of aggravated fraud, troubled freedom of the charms and corruption.
