At the Geneva Motor Show which has just opened is also a special Abarth of the future: Scorp-Ion. With the support of Pirelli and OZ Institute IED students have created a label branded Abarth coupé, which will be fully electric and compact size. The Scorp-Ion was created by seven students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Transportation Design supervised by Luca Borgogno, senior designer Pininfarina, Giampaolo and Louis, Maserati designer.
The Scorp-Ion compact car will be a long and 4 meters wide 190 meters two-seater equipped with 4 electric motors powered by lithium-ion battery. The four engines are coupled to each wheel, while the cargo space behind the seats and placed as close as possible to the center of gravity to the ground.
