Nissan Leaf at the start deliveries in the UK

Nissan has started shipping the Leaf in Great Britain. After the launch in Japan and the United States, the Eastern power was handed over to the first two European customers of the island. Nissan Leaf is currently assembled in Japan only in 2013 but also the Sunderland factory will bring forth the Japanese zero emission.

Sunderland plant Nissan Juke is already being produced, the younger sister of the Qashqai, and until recently was also built Micra. Thanks to mass production on the British territory Nissan will promote a campaign which will cover the entire territory of the Queen. Nissan dealers in the country are 26 and all had permission to start marketing the Leaf.

These will be equipped with charging stations so fast that the customers of Leaf can recharge their electric cars to 80% less than thirty minutes. In the United Kingdom has launched a comprehensive program that includes the installation of 9,000 charging points for electric cars and should be completed by the end of 2013.
