The Leaf, which is currently built only in Japan, will develop in the coming years a strong relationship with the United Kingdom: in 2013, this model will be assembled even zero emissions in the factory in Sunderland, where among other born and Juke where until recently it was assembled the old-generation Micra.

According to information from the house, is already under construction which will cover a broad network of charging across the UK. Even Nissan dealers that have been mandated to market power (currently 26 across the country), will be equipped with charging points fast, able to recover from zero to 80% the level of battery charge in less than 30 minutes.

Overall, the United Kingdom have started programs that provide for the installation of around 9000 recharge points for electric cars by 2013.
