The price of gasoline in Germany has risen sharply since last week. As the ADAC tells much is a liter of super gasoline (E10) is currently in federal funds € 1.562 per liter (up 4.1 cents). From the highest ever recorded daily average price in July 2008 that premium gasoline is just 2.3 cents away. A further price increase had to accept the drivers of diesel cars, the price rose by 1.6 cents per liter to 1.450 €.
According to the ADAC, the significant increase in fuel prices is largely due to the sudden increase in the price of crude oil. So the price climbed for a barrel of Brent crude oil within a week by seven to about 123 dollars.
