Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition

Among the many festivities were born to celebrate the 100 years of the Chevrolet brand, could not miss that part of one of the historical models of the American manufacturer, or the Corvette for this special celebration is made in a special edition called Centennial Corvette Z06 Edition. This special edition will be sold on April 9 Barrett-Jackson auction in West Palm Beach, California and the proceeds will go to raise funds to benefit the fight against cancers that afflict children.

The Centennial Edition of the same name will also give life to a kit that will be available from next summer for versions Grand Sport, Z06, Corvette ZR1, respectively equipped with engines from 436 hp LS3 6.2-liter, 550 hp LS7 7.0-liter LS9 6.2 liter supercharged and capable of 630 hp. Aesthetically, the new special package can be recognized by the aggressive, yet elegant black livery "Carbon Flash Metallic", combined with the large circles Centennial Satin Black available in sizes 18 and 20 inches, adorned with a profile of red that reflect the same tone the brake calipers.

The aesthetics of the car is then completed by the badge placed on the frames and the wheels of the car with superimposed the words "Chevrolet 100 years", centered on the outline of the founder of the U.S. House Louis Chevrolet. The interiors are a mix of sportiness and luxury, enhanced by a few details like the fine black leather and Alcantara interior in Ebony, with visible red stitching, upholstery and steering wheel incorporate the logo and "Chevrolet 100 years" also found outside of the car.

The American manufacturer has not skimped on the course standard equipment in this rich setting that brings with it a satellite navigation system, dual-zone automatic climate control and Bose audio system with iPod input and Bluetooth connectivity. The handling of the car is insured by the sophisticated suspension Magnetic Selective Ride Control, paired with fine adjustment and a powerful braking system designed by the professional Brembo carbon-ceramic discs which boasts fine "bites" from six-piston calipers.
