Renault is planning three SUVs in the coming years

Capture the Renault, one of the most interesting concept car shown at Geneva in March, will soon be launched as a production model and will represent the first draft of a novel family of sport utilities. With these models, the French, under the leadership style of Laurens van den Acker seems to have found inspiration on design, aims to fill segments for too many years left to the vagaries of competition.

The Capture, which has a size comparable to those of her cousin Juke Nissan, the Japanese have in common with the platform. And the two larger models, similarly, taking advantage of the technical basis of the Qashqai. A look like it even in space, the other is a bit 'bigger, much like the X-Trail.

The big news of the range of these off-road engines, as reported by AutoExpress, will be the dCi nuovo1.6, offered in variants from 130 hp turbo and 160 bhp twin-turbo. By Capture, the three new French take both hands in terms of styling cues: all are characterized by large logo on the grille and flowing shapes seen on the prototype.

It seems that finally someone in Renault has decided to overcome the failed experience of the Koleos ...
