Yo-Mobile: Vladimir Putin at the wheel of first hybrid Russian

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin dressed in the clothes of the driver test-driving one of the earliest examples of Yo-Mobile's innovative hybrid developed in partnership between the Russian manufacturer of heavy vehicles Yarovit el'Onexim Motors Group of tycoon Mikhail Prokhorov, known among the other to be the owner of the franchise of the NBA New Jersey Nets.

The Yo-Mobile is characterized by the unique mechanical layout, consisting of a rotary engine (powered by gasoline or natural gas) and a supercapacitor used in place of traditional batteries, which store the energy from the rotary and directed towards the electric motor. The presence of this accessory has allowed engineers to eliminate food-related charges by cable, otherwise essential if you use batteries.

Insurance benefits from this unusual deck are quite interesting: the average consumption of 3.5 liters per 100 kilometers, increasing the range of 1,100 kilometers, acceleration 0-100 km / h is covered in about 7-8 seconds and the maximum speed is limited to 130 km / h. Yo-Self (the name of the partnership) will make the Yo-Mobile in three different body variants, three-and five-door van version, with prices ranging between 8,500 and 12,500 euro.

The start of the program is already established in the second half of 2012.
