Yuri Gagarin, the Google logo takes off for space

How many of you know Yuri Gagarin, Soviet cosmonaut, was the first man to travel into space. It was 1961 and now Google is celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the launch of a spacecraft East paying homage with its logo on the first trip around the Earth. It was a very important day in the international and Gagarin said the following words, which were carved in the popular imagination, "the Earth from up here is beautiful, without borders or boundaries." These were the years of the early space launches and Gagarin was found to specialize in Ukraine in 1959 and was chosen, along with other colleagues, to become a cosmonaut through training very hard.

The flight lasted 88 minutes and when Gagarin returned to the earth's soil was celebrated in his homeland as a hero of the Soviet Union. Since then, Gagarin was a landmark in aviation in the scheme. Participated in other missions, including that of the Orient 6, which saw the first woman in space, Valentina Vladimirovna Tereškova.
