Maserati V6 engine under the hood Pentastar

News from overseas reported the possible use of an engine Pentastar American models in the Maserati range. Yes, our very own Trident, in the course of its history, some fine-motor while it baked. Globalization is also this. The optimization of resources is especially the latter. The large group Chrysler is putting in place the many pieces of his puzzle.

Large marks on one side (Alfa Romeo and Maserati to name a few at random) and other mass industrialization that needs large numbers to ensure their survival. So U.S. platforms in droves for our cars and soon the engines. The first should be the Pentastar V6 launched late last year. This same engine - revisited appropriately compared to the 3.6-liter 305 horsepower and its maximum offering in this first version - should therefore equip the Maserati of the future.

The main changes to adapt to Modena sports could be provided by two turbochargers turbocharging. The Pentastar should replace the current Maserati V8 4.2-and 4.7-liter push the Quattroporte, GranTurismo and GranTurismo.
