Model Year 2011 BMW 750Li: limousine Bavarian

Renews the offering of the flagship BMW 7 Series with the introduction of the 2011 version of the 750 Li, construction of the long-wheelbase sedan Bavarian representation, combined with powerful, modern 4.4-liter V8 engine, equipped with two turbo compressors. The 750Li than the normal version provides a floor of 140 mm long, with a total length of 5.21 meters, which translates into more comfort for rear passengers, mostly thanks to 208 mm for the legs and well above 988 mm head.

These numbers are the BMW 750 Li, one of the most spacious cars in its segment, exceeded only by the caliber of cars Maybach and Rolls Royce, however, that arise in the segment of ultra-luxury limousine. The painstaking attention to detail and finish of premium cars are also highlighted by the individual rear seats and electrically adjustable independently, in addition to having massage and ventilation functions, offered as an option.

The four-zone electronic climate control can be adjusted easily from the back, using the appropriate commands placed in front of passengers. I can control the most demanding multimedia features offered by a second iDrive placed back on the arm that allows you to entertain the lucky passengers with the functions of your hi-fi, that of the TV with a DVD of any console or PC connected to screens set into the front headrests.

As noted above, the 750 Li is equipped with a V8-equipped modern TwinPowerTurbo capable of a power of 407 hp and maximum torque of 600 Nm available from as little as 1750 rpm to help move the substantial amount of 2055 kg dry without the slightest difficulty, even offering a guide engaging, but never demanding.

According to the data declared by the manufacturer Li 750 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5.3 seconds, and as usual BMW top speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h. Despite the important mass of the car and the many horses available, the four-door Teutonic recorded an average fuel consumption is reported emissions, respectively, equal to 11.4 l/100 km and 266 g / km of CO2 emitted into the air.

To provide appropriate responses to any need the 750 Li can be equipped with the xDrive all-wheel drive, which has become a tradition for many models of the German manufacturer. Thanks to a sophisticated electronic device, the torque is distributed to 40% on the front and the remaining 60% on the rear when the car is in normal conditions, but if you deal with curves in the strongest terms the couple goes to 20% and 80%, whereas if you deal with funds in poor grip goes back to 50% and 50%.

Obviously, the extra weight of the four-wheel drive increases the average fuel economy (11.9 litres/100 km) and the related pollutant emissions (278 g / km of CO2), which remain more than acceptable for this type of car.
