Saturday afternoon, part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the most prestigious endurance race: Audi will bring for the first time its new R18 TDI, the latest evolution of the first racing car to be equipped with diesel engine. The changes from the previous R15 TDI in the architecture of the body, now coupe (a solution that had been abandoned by the house in 1999) and is smaller than the new 3.7 TDI V6 engine instead of the "old" V8 diesel.
To celebrate the debut of the new R18 TDI home in Ingolstadt has released this new promotional video that advertises the know-how of the German company about the development of lightweight materials (especially aluminum).
