ZF: the first features of the new nine-relationship 9HP

From 2013 will introduce the new ZF gearbox 9HP nine reports, intended for cars with transverse engine and front wheel drive Chrysler and Dodge vehicles including the new generation. As reported by the same technicians, 9HP reduces fuel consumption by 16% compared to a conventional automatic gearbox six speeds and can interface with a Start & Stop system, while the limits of maximum torque and minimum range between 280 and 480 Nm Each buyer can then use different settings and to establish operating modes depending on the car on which it is mounted.

The new transmission will be produced in the plant in Greenville, South Carolina, where it is currently assembled the 8HP 8-speed. The operation of 9HP obviously can not be separated from the torque converter, however, coupled with a torsion damper and a new administration block of the converter, although the high number of gears allows the engine to work at the appropriate arrangements.

At the same time, the reduced shift times and the subtle electronic management system allows multiple scaled or changed to the benefit of performance and fuel consumption at constant speed.
