Miray Chevrolet Concept: the sport's centennial

Chevrolet turns 100 years during the 2011, and to celebrate has launched at the Seoul Motor Show the Miray, a hybrid sport whose design draws attention on sight. With Chevrolet's centennial in full swing, the American brand has been presented in Seoul on New Miray Concept, a hybrid sports spectacular design.

The total power of the whole has not been disclosed, but is known to have two electric motors of 20 HP each in each of the front wheels, which are powered by a lithium battery that is recharged during braking, and a gasoline engine and 1.5 liter 4-cylinder acting on the rear. On the internal combustion engine also acts a gearbox quick-change double-clutch of which there have been no more data.

The car's design as comment from Chevrolet, is based on two models like the Monza SS 1963 and the 1962 Corvair Super Spyder. This design has several areas finished in carbon fiber, such as the ailerons. In addition, the Chevrolet Miray, the proper pronunciation is My Ray, includes 20-inch wheels in front and 21 inches in the rear.

The interior also is very futuristic, with a design that benefits both the driver and passenger in the front.
