The Alfa Romeo Museum, historic sites

The Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, is now a place of historical interest recognized by the Italian State. The Ministry of Heritage and Culture has in fact ratified the proposal for a bond that was intended to recognize and protect the historical value of this property and all the models which it hosts. The decision of the then Ministry closes the bureaucratic process began last October when the city council and the mayor of Arese Gianluigi Fornaro voted for the bond proposal to be submitted to the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, opened the proceedings which included also the deadline as of January 31 deadline by which they could advance any arguments to the contrary and related claims.

Having overcome the bureaucratic obstacle, then, the museum may be called the Alfa officially the national heritage, with all the protections of the case entitled to this facility open to the public of Alfisti and not just since December 1976, managing to accommodate more than 11,000 visitors each year.

Alfa Romeo at the Museum collection is the entire history of the brand, with 130 cars, 25 engines, which have marked the history of Italian cars and 15 aircraft engines, in addition to more than 50,000 digital images, 3,000 drawings, 5,000 sheets and several contributions movies. Finally, this is also the first car ever built at the plant in Arese, a Giulia GT.
