Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese said place of historical interest from the Ministry of Culture

The Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese was declared a place of historical and placed under protection, with 130 cars, from the Ministry of Heritage and cultural activities. The bureaucratic practice to become the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese Italian heritage started last October when the mayor of Arese, Gianluigi Fornaro, with its city council, voted unanimously for the proposal to bond for the Ministry, which sets January 31 deadline for the advance of any complaint.

The Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese was opened to the public in 1976 and every year is visited by an average of more than 11,500 spectators annually. Inside are kept 110 cars, 15 aircraft engines, automotive engines and 25 more than 50 thousand digital images, technical publications, drawings and films relating to the history of Alfa Romeo.

The museum boasts of 4,800 square meters exhibition space and one of its gems are the 6C 1500 S, the Giulia GT in 1963 and the first assembled by the Alfa Romeo factory in Arese.
