Ampera, will be in Geneva to finalize

The Ampera will be presented at the Geneva Show in March in its final shape. After being one of the main attractions of the last edition of the Swiss auto show, the extended-range electric car from Opel, the European sister of the American Chevrolet Volt, is preparing to draw to the attention of the public on this occasion .

Technically the Ampera know all the more important ones. Equipped with an electric motor 150 hp and 370 Nm of torque from standstill, the car provides a top speed of 160 km / h, with an operation that provides electrical power through the batteries to 16 kWh lithium-ion (rechargeable also through an outlet of 230 V) for the first 40-80 miles driven, with the possibility of using the energy produced by gasoline engine which is equipped with, but that only serves as a generator for longer journeys, to guarantee autonomy of 500 kilometers.

By submitting the final version of Ampera in Geneva and then closes the circle around the long period of presentation of this model, which is already booked at a price starting at € 42,900 but that will be on the roads by year end, when they are delivered the first samples to customers.
