After its world premiere at the Detroit Auto Convertible, BMW is launching the Coupe also, that according to the latest news will be introduced at the Shanghai Motor Show, scheduled for April. The model-remember-it was preceded by a concept very faithful to the final version at the last Paris Motor Show in October.
The new 6 Series Coupe, like her sister discovered, will be launched on the market with only two engines, both turbocharged, the 3.0 6 cylinder with 320 hp in the 640th and the 4.4 V8 from 407 hp, adopted by the 650th. Its commercial debut is scheduled for the autumn. After the first two body variants, the 6 Series range will expand to the derivative Series Coupe Concept shown at the Great Hall in Beijing in 2010 and with the inevitable M6, whose twin-turbo V8 (same as the future M5) is credited with about 570 hp.
