De Tomaso forthcoming Geneva Motor Show will present the model which will return in international markets, the crossover SLS. The model, which clearly fits into the recess of the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo behind the acronym provisional Sport Luxury Sedan. He was followed, in the coming years, according to statements by Gian Mario Rossignolo, will be a more conventional sedan and a luxury coupe.
The SLS, for obvious questions of conflicts related to the naming will be renamed before arriving in production. By the crossover, which will be assembled in plants ex-Pininfarina in Grugliasco (Torino), we expect volumes of about 3000 units per year. He made his debut in international markets will be next year.
A Grugliasco, where 900 employees are currently employed, not only held its assembly operations, but also of painting. As the SLS, even the sedan will be produced as planned in 3000 copies a year, while the coupe is about 2,000 units. De Tomaso will invest a total of 116 million euro project in his recovery.
