Fiat looks at low cost: return Innocents?

The Fiat group does not want to be sure to look at the success of competing brands in the segment of low cost cars. Which is why the House of Lingotto is studying the launch of a series of new models to come into this market, especially to make the competition Dacia brand is part of the Renault Group.

The cars in question should come directly from the assembly lines in Brazil, where next year will debut a 2 successor dellaPalio volumes. In the projects also include versions of the Italian manufacturer to 3 volumes, and even station wagon and crossover which already make up the range of the Palio.

Built on a chassis derived from the Grande Punto, the new low cost car license plate Fiat will be more than 4 meters long and more spacious than its predecessor. Same music for the engines but will be marketed in versions less powerful and thirsty, so as to reduce operating costs. The other big news, yet to be confirmed, is that the future Fiat "low cost" could arrive in Italy, perhaps reviving an old brand like Innocent.
