Smart Forspeed Concept

Smart completes its range of zero-emission vehicles with Forspeed Concept, prototype expected at the Geneva Motor Show (3-13 March) and next to E-Scooter and E-Bike. This model of style recalls the aesthetics of Crossblade and is characterized by the absence of pillars and roof, while the windshield just mentioned emphasize the sportiness of the collection.

Steffen Kohl, head of design, said his work noting the uniqueness of the forms that define a style typical Smart, which are reflected in the cockpit minimal and smartphones equipped with a swivel. There is also a tool that indicates the entry into operation dell'overboost. The Forspeed Concept uses a 40 hp electric motor positioned at the rear, which has 7 more hp when it required auxiliary pushing the already mentioned overboost.

Smart declares autonomy of 135 km for a maximum speed of 120 km / h. "We have an obligation to create profit and for this reason Forspeed will not be achieved even in small batches," said Annette Winkler, a number of the German mark. "However, this prototype introduces some design elements that will be used by future production."
