2012 Cadillac SRX V6 adopts 3.6 "LFX"

If a few weeks ago GM had decided to drop the 2.8 turbo with the Cadillac SRX 3.0 V6 now the car will have the naturally aspirated 3.6 V6, code-named LFX. How many of you remember LFX is an acronym that has been likened also to 2012 Chevrolet Camaro and now the 2012 Cadillac SRX will use this new engine.

To be more precise engine of the new Cadillac SRX is called LFX SIDI, DOHC, VVT, E85 MAX, Alum GM will, as mentioned, a 3.6 and will have direct injection, two overhead pipes, variable valve timing. The engine, still under development, will be able to release up to 330 horsepower, this means that also replace the 3.6 V6 with 304 horses are currently on some models like the Cadillac CTS.

The marketing of the Cadillac SRX will be done by the second half of next year.
