At the Geneva Motor Show, EDAG will design a new version of the Light Car, presented at last year, called Light Car Sharing Concept. The changes were made primarily to the body: so there's a new structure that offers space for six passengers, and traction systems even more advanced. The engine is electric and includes a lithium-ion battery pack located beneath the floor which offers a range of 100 km with a maximum speed of 100 km / h.
The body is sturdy and easy to clean, is made of composite fiber plastic components that can be used to disseminate messages outside the car, and advertising service, or that indicate whether the car is occupied or free booked. In fact, the Light Electric Car Sharing Concept is designed to be used with an innovative car-sharing, customers will pay only for the actual duration of the path traveled.
This is basically a vehicle that can solve the problem of high costs related to car elettrihe. Inside the Light Car is very spartan: there are only accelerator, brake, steering wheel and a lever that operates the turn signals. A display provides information about the speed, range and status of the battery.
