Geneva 2011: Chevrolet Aveo notchback displays

Chevrolet shows at the Geneva Motor Show (public days: 3-03.13.2011), the Aveo sedan. The sedan model, which is in the U.S. as a Sonic on the market, celebrated in January at the Detroit auto show in its world premiere. While the hatchback version applies especially to younger buyers, Chevrolet wants to appeal to the less sporty sedan drawn primarily to families and elderly drivers.

Front shape the Aveo distinctive twin headlights, a two-tier grille and a taut line. Particularly striking is the step-back the rising shoulder line that gives the four-door, a profile reminiscent of the larger Chevrolet Cruze. With a length of 4.40 meters and a width of 1.74 meters, the new Aveo is larger than the previous countries.

The luggage compartment has a volume of 502 liters. The instrument panel is modeled on that of a motorcycle and has an analog tachometer. The center console comes up with a blue backlight, the front interior is complete with a revolving panel provided. Standard equipment includes power steering, electronic stability control and ABS.

For driving petrol engines with 1.2 liter (51 kW / 70 PS and 63 kW / 86 PS), 1.4 liter (73 kW / 100 PS and 1.6-liter engine (85 kW / 115 hp. First there is the Aveo with a 1.3-liter diesel engine in two versions (55 kW / 75 PS and 70 kW / 95 hp and is equipped with start / stop system. Chevrolets first six-speed automatic transmission for small cars for the Aveo 1.4 liter and 1.6-liter option available in most markets.

The gearbox will be offered depending on engine variant with five or six courses.
