Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2

It's called Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 in the latest range of summer tires Goodyear targati. A new type of tire, the manufacturer shall, technology ActiveBraking, increases the area of contact with the road during braking, reducing up to 3 meters stopping distances on dry and wet. To verify a series of tests were carried out by the independent TÜV SÜD Automotive, on a test track in France and Germany, have shown that the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 braking distances reduced by 3 meters in the wet than the average performance three competing products.

Unlike conventional tread that does not undergo almost no change during braking, technology ActiveBraking ensures a greater contact surface of the tire with the road during braking, which translates into children stopping distances. Available in 29 sizes (in 2012 if plans for a further 21) Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 shows a cross-ply carcass to increase rigidity and improve cornering and steering precision, handling and behavior under braking on dry roads.

The compound is instead characterized by a mix of polymers with high molecular weight resin and a competition that improves the performance in the wet than the previous generation of products.
