Hyundai i40: the first photos of the interior

Although not yet official Hyundai has released the first image that reveals the interior of the i40 hatchback, which will be presented with great ceremony in Geneva. The intention of the Korean manufacturer's new i40 will replace the older generation of Sonics, marketed in the European market, thus entering more fully into the segment D.

Will be in direct competition with Ford Mondeo and Volkswagen Passat. Hyundai rest of the Summits have expressed a clear intention to improve the quality of its range trying to keep prices affordable to a wide audience. It is very likely to be exposed Geneva 4-door sedan version that should come to market later this year.

The preview images above reveal the interior features a wide center console dominated by an LCD display, air nozzles, the trapezoid and panel buttons positioned centrally. All this interspersed with a strip of aluminum that also incorporates the three-spoke steering wheel. On the Web also circulate some photos of the stolen road sedan that reveal a car with aggressive design: wide track, bumper angular shapes (reminiscent of a little 'Citroen C4), tail lights and high profile elongated.

On engines that will drive the new Hyundai i40, the house was meant to loosen but it is likely that the car will be equipped with a 2-liter 4-cylinder gasoline direct injection and a capacity of approximately 170 horsepower, which is flanked by two diesel version of common- rail 1.7-liter in steps of 115 and 136 horses.
