Infiniti Etherea, concept at Geneva Motor Show 2011

Infiniti has released the first images of Etherea, the concept car that the luxury brand of Nissan to the Geneva Motor Show which will open in a few weeks. An unconventional model, with its taut lines and sinuous able to draw a body coupe driven and highly dynamic, definitely not easy to find in the premium compact class.

Indeed, identifying the exact category for this Infiniti Etherea is not so simple. The proportions compact sedan (the overall length is 4.4, m) are mixed with a pavilion and a descending beltline high enough like a coupe, while the solid rear is well suited to a small SUV. "Etherea embodies a new kind of luxury for the younger crowd - said Toru Saito, vice president and global head of business unit Global Infiniti - not simply a smaller version of a luxury traditional and conservative." Very modern and hi-tech, this compact nipponica then squeezes the eye to young people, anticipating, behind the unconventional lines of a typical prototype of a lounge, some solutions will be proposed again in the future in the model series that will be presented shortly.
