New arrival in Mercedes. At the Geneva Motor Show, the House of the star will present the C-Class Coupé, the new two-door compact sports heir to the CLC. As the name suggests the Mercedes C-Class Coupé is derived from the average C-Class sedan and inherits some details, like the appearance of the front, but made more aggressive by the lower bezel.
Compared to the C-Class sedan Coupe car body lowered by 41 mm, which allows it to have a more sporty appearance. All lines of the car are more streamlined and "low", thus making the car visually closer to the street. The interior incorporates part of the style of the sedan and made some more sporty aluminum trim that contrasts with the "usual" timber which Mercedes has accustomed us.
Two features are represented by the new 3-spoke steering wheel that is aligned with the SLS and the possibility of having to request the rear seat backs fold, allowing for further increases in capacity. And 'present the multimedia system COMAND Online (standard in the AVANTGARDE line), the evolution of the classic Mercedes infotainment system that lets you surf the Internet.
The display is larger and allows three-dimensional representation of 3D urban models of cities. The engines include three petrol and two Diesel. The cheapest, the C180, it features the 1.8 liter 4-cylinder 156 hp ensures that consumption of 6.5 l/100 km. The C 250 has the same engine with 204 bhp of power, however, while C350 is equipped with the 3.5-liter V6 with 306 hp and 370 Nm of torque, which can reach 250 km / h while consuming just 6.8 l / 100 km.
The two diesel, the C220 CDI and C 250 CDI, both fitted with the 2.2-liter 4-cylinder power with 170 hp or 204 hp. For all versions is available on request, the 7G-Tronic Plus. After the presentation at the Geneva Motor Show will have to wait another few months to see it in dealerships.
