Nissan Concept Esflow

Nissan at the show Esflow Geneva, electric sports car prototype that brings technology into cars Nissan Leaf dedicated to pure driving pleasure. Conceptually similar to the 370Z, the Esflow offers 2-seater, rear wheel drive with an electric motor for each wheel axle and laminated lithium-ion batteries: This means to touch 100 km / h acceleration in less than 5 seconds with a range of 240 km.

The design is copied from the 370Z, albeit smaller, with the long hood and passenger compartment located practically on the rear wheels, with minimal overhangs and a rear weight distribution studied in relation dell'handling. The body is a composite fiber, and each component has been designed from scratch to not put limits on the creativity of the technicians and get the best possible results, when performance and efficiency.

The aluminum frame houses the battery pack along the axis of the wheels to optimize the center of gravity, while the engines are positioned on the same axis and can work independently to act as a torque vectoring system, maximizing traction. By integrating the structure of a protective roll bar behind the seats, the front pillars have been reduced in thickness, making it particularly easy visibility, despite the high waist line.

The seats, upholstered in leather and perforated suede gold, were literally carved into the rear bulkhead and through the control pedals and steering you can find the right driving position. For the body you have chosen a specific color, similar to a liquid solidified with shades of blue hue echoed by the headlights and the fiber inserts carboio of alloy wheels.

Fiber are also skirts, rear spoiler to the bottom of the rear bumper. The rear view mirrors have been replaced by miniature cameras, while the air vents under the headlights hide the links to the batteries.
