Ford Mustang Blue Angels Edition

Founded back in 1964 and proposed over the years in five series, the Mustang is a symbol of the American automobile. Before the umpteenth facelift that will affect the model in a few months, Ford has announced the debut of a special edition of its popular and patriotic muscle-cars dedicated to the hundred years since the founding U.S.

Navy Aviation, and called for the occasion Ford Mustang Blue Angels Edition. This special version of the sport Yankees will not be mass produced, but will remain a one-off designed for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh sold at auction, which will be held on July 28 and the proceeds of the sale will be donated to charity in favor of the program EAA Young Eagles.


The Mustang Blue Angels Edition is immediately recognizable for its special livery of blue color that recalls the company's combat "Blue Angels", adorned with yellow side stripes that run along the length of the sides. The interior features include new sports seats with black leather Recaro signed with integrated headrests and marked with yellow details, while behind them the rear seat has been eliminated in favor of an unprecedented reinforcement bar.

But the most interesting changes are under the bonnet that houses a powerful 5.0-liter V8 engine. This handsome unit has been the subject of attention of the sports department Racing Ford was able to increase the maximum power from 412 hp to 624 hp, thanks to the addition of a turbocharger coupled to a new management electronics and built a brand new sports exhaust stainless steel.

Ford Racing obviously could not leave out the car's braking system el'handling for the occasion have been updated with a new sports facility and an ultra-low attitude.
