Mitsubishi PSA: the next SUVs Citroen and Peugeot will be more personal

The new SUV in the PSA group (PeugeotCitroen) will be developed in partnership with Mitsubishi to offer the target with two French cars with soul and features well-differentiated from the ASX, which will come from the Japanese model. The previous collaboration for a fact had given birth Outlander Sport Utility, 4007 and C-Crosser: too similar in and out to face an increasingly jaded and looking for original ideas.

Upon their arrival in 2013, the mid-size SUV interior of the PSA will have more refined and distinctive design. But the new techniques will also be compared to the ASX, though under the hood. The range of engines will start from a 1.6 petrol VTi 120 hp coupled to front wheel drive only.

The rest of the range will instead rely on diesel HDi engines also offered with four-wheel drive. The French name of SUVs are still jealously kept secret, but Citroen is rumored to "C-Crossback" while Peugeot "CXR".
