Will be presented next September at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but not until early 2012 when we see in European showrooms.

We talk about the new 2012 Honda Civic, which will be exclusively a five-door version and will incorporate a number of interesting developments in their mechanical, all aimed at improving their efficiency. The new Honda Civic will have an i-DTEC engine which combines, according to Audi engineers, excellent performance with a CO2 emission level really low.

We are talking about a mechanical 2.2-liter with 150 horsepower and emissions of 110 g / km. Besides the various improvements that have this engine in terms of materials and reduction of friction in moving parts, the emissions figure is also due to the manual gearbox linked to technology-system Idle Stop Stop / Start stop-start-getting an improvement of 5 g / km.

We have also worked in paragraph aerodynamic Civic to achieve less drag, which is always reflected as far as fuel consumption and emissions are concerned. However, Honda's engineers not only looking for efficiency with the new Civic, but also have set a target of this new version continues to be a fun and enjoyable car to drive.

For what will have to wait to see the final image of the new Honda Civic, as it still appears hidden in the images that gives us the Japanese. However, only one month left for Frankfurt, where we know every single detail.
