Subaru FT-86: BRZ will call you and will be presented at the IAA 2011

Subaru unveils the name of the FT-86 coupe, concept car, developed in collaboration with Toyota. The new two-door will be baptized BRZ, Boxer stands for Rear-Drive Zenith, and will have its world premiere at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, scheduled from September 15 to September 25. Built on a new platform with front engine and rear-wheel drive developed jointly with Toyota, the new Subaru BRZ will be driven by 4-cylinder boxer engine with 200 horsepower combined with rear-wheel drive and capable of exceeding 220 km / h.


According to internal sources is also a more powerful version, with over 275 horsepower and can exceed 250 km / h top speed with a sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in under 5.5 seconds covered. 4.22 meters long, 1.77 wide and 1.27 high, the new Subaru BRZ will feature a sporty and dynamic, able to attract the Japanese brand dealerships in a customer attentive to the performance and challenging to "openly" Sciroccoe rivals such as Volkswagen Audi TT.

Waiting in dealerships by the end of 2012, the new Subaru BRZ has a list price starting at around 30,000 euros. Now we just have to wait for the opening of the Frankfurt Motor Show to find out all the features of the new coupe in Japan.
