Audi A3 E-Tron

Audi A3 created the prototype E-Tron, electric car derived from the current A3 Sportback. The design is fully intact in the original model and the only difference is easily spotted on the different instruments. The A3-Tron And, unlike the A1 E-Tron is a pure electric, not a EREV: it has a synchronous electric motor capable of peak power of 136 hp and 270 Nm of torque, while the learning is equal to 82 hp.

The A3 E-Tron, front-wheel drive, has a top speed of 145 km / h and touches the 60 km / h acceleration in 5.3 seconds and 100 km / h in 11.2 seconds. The range is 140 km, with 9 hours recharge time with power at 230V and 4 hours in case of voltage to 400V.

The recharge management, among other functions, may be controlled by a specific remote application for iPhone. The car offers three driving modes: the "dynamic" allows you to get maximum power from the engine and the higher contribution of the air conditioning system, the "automatic" optimize the values for extended battery life, while "efficient" power is limited to 68 hp, air-conditioning is kept to a minimum and the maximum speed drops to 110 km / h.

In the case of overtaking, sinking the accelerator kick-down mode you can switch immediately to full power. In all modes, the paddles behind the steering wheel allow you to choose between 4 levels of energy recovery during braking, thus changing driving the A3-E-Tron: the first mode, where the car offers little resistance to the setting in where the slowdown is very evident when the accelerator is pressed and the electric motor acts as generator.
