BMW completes testing program for modified Z4 GT3

BMW has completed the test program for the more advanced customer Z4 sports car GT3. The aim of the changes to the vehicle was to primarily improve the aerodynamic efficiency. The new model with the 4.4-liter eight-cylinder engine can now be ordered at the net price of 315 000 euros. His biggest success of the BMW Z4 recorded GT3, which was launched in March 2010, the public, in January 2011.

Claudia Huertgen (DE), BMW works drivers Augusto Farfus (BR), Tommy Milner (U.S.) and Edward Sandström (SE) triumphed for the team Schubert at the 24-hour race of Dubai. It was the first overall victory in the BMW Z4 GT3 with such a marathon race, after the specially developed race car had its potential already in its first year with victories in the FIA GT3 European Championship put to the test.
